Nooran Sisters are known for tracks like “Patakha guddi” and “Jogan” among many others. The Nooran Sisters have created a space for themselves in the mainstream music industry, and their music has been used by veteran directors like Imtiaz Ali, Anand L Rai and Anurag Kashyap.
Ritu too, wants to make her mark in the industry. “Music is one thing which defies all odds. It has no religion. If it is sung from the heart, it will reach the heart, and that’s what my aim is. Like my sisters, I too want to carve a niche for myself with my unique style of singing,” she told IANS.
'Main Vaapas Aaunga' is a Hindi film directed by Imtiaz Ali. It stars Vedang Raina and Sharvari Wagh in the lead roles, with music composed by AR Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
The film, released on Valentine's Day 2020, had a budget of Rs 50 crore and earned an estimated Rs 52.6 crore. Ali shouldered full blame for its failure and absolved lead actors Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan of any responsibility.
Addressing her directly on Instagram Stories, he said he never intended to hurt her and expressed admiration for their long-standing friendship and collaborations.
